Great location just a short walk to the city center and in a quiet street. the house itself is charming with lots of character and little nooks and crannies. It was very comfortable and well heated, making it a cozy stay. the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washer, which was a great convenience. the host left us delicious cupcakes and provided plenty of tea, coffee, and milk. the facilities and value for money were excellent.
The bath made a strange and alarming sound when emptying, which was a bit unsettling at first. the bed was a bit firm for our liking, although the rest of the family found it comfortable.

The location was ideal, just minutes away from the city center. We loved how close it was to everything we wanted to see and do. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with good storage in each bedroom. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with a log burner in the lounge. It made our stay even more enjoyable, especially during the colder months.
While it didn't bother us, some guests might find the stairs steep and difficult to climb. having the bathroom on one floor and the en-suite on another could be inconvenient, especially at night and for those with mobility issues.

Great location, close to the city center and local amenities. Clean and well-equipped house with all the necessary facilities.- Comfortable beds and good quality bedding for a good night's sleep.
Steep staircase, not suitable for people with mobility issues or knee problems. Furniture not suitable for dog owners, as it is soft and light covered.

Great location, only a short walk to the city center and close to supermarkets and good places to eat. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The host went above and beyond, providing directions and even a birthday cake for our son's 18th.
The bed was too firm for us, but the rest of the family found it comfortable. The garden could use some trimming, but it was still a nice spot to relax with a coffee in the morning.

My recent stay at Waverley Villa was fantastic! The location was perfect for exploring the city, with York Minster just a short walk away. The house itself was lovely, with three spacious double bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. I especially appreciated the two bathrooms, one of which was in the attic room. The information provided by Mary was very helpful, and the welcome fairy cakes and milk in the fridge were a good touch. I also enjoyed the little courtyard area and the fact that the hotel had parking. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again when visiting York.
